Confidence 30 Day Challenge – Women’s Ministries Retreat Devotional Day 26

Day 26:

Bing Hunter, author of The God Who Hears, describes God’s moral purity as “light: blinding, unending, undiminishing, dazzling whiteness.”3 Hunter goes on to explain why holiness is so hard for us to understand:

“Christians are like fish; living in a fluid medium (society) which has become so morally murky that ‘light’ seems abnormal. We were born in dirty water and have gotten used to it.”

Have you gotten used to a sin? Are you compromising? It is hard to be confident if you are worried about a skeleton falling out of your closet.

If you have a hidden sin, today confess it and be free to live in the light of truth and honesty.

As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; (1 Peter 1:14–15)

¿Te has acostumbrado al pecado?

1 Pedro 1:14-15
